The WiiU came out a year before the PS4/XB1, and was only about as powerful as an X360. That was part of the problem. It was a leap forward from the Wii, but not enough to compete with even the outdated consoles.

As someone who’s owned one since 2005... Just get an SP, or an original GBA and put a backlit screen in it. They’re much better experiences than the Micro. If it’s a collectible thing, than disregard me.

People use them? Yeah. The only thing that concerns me is that perk cards are included, but I’ll reserve judgment until I see the cards that are available through the system. Everything else is cosmetic or currency and not directly relevant to power creep.

It always amazes me that 1080/30 is even considered acceptable. There’s a point where adding new shinies takes away from the game experience, and we’re well past the point where new shinies are needed.
