The coupe is the driver’s car so the umbrella is where you can see and reach it before you get out. The 4 door Phantom is where the owner rides in the back, and his slightly wet butler must prepare the umbrella before the owner steps out. :-)

You’re right! I’d love to see one stripped down. Also hidden in that hinge mechanism is an actuator to close it at the touch of a button. One wouldn’t want to over exert one’s self reaching out for such a large door now would you.

They don’t make fins like they used to... While I know they won’t be doing something as extravagant as my baby below any time soon - I have noticed how the brake lights protrude a little bit past the body and it’s a nice subtle throwback. Having been fortunate enough to own a Toyota GT and see a 2000 GT in the flesh, there’s a many similarities, some obvious and some very subtle. I’m sure nobody will see this thanks to the Jalopnik commenting system - but just in case - Ford - PLEASE PLEASE just raid the parts bin and make this happen. Let the Raptor have the Raptor skid plate. But use the rest of the bits on the SuperDuty!

I’m seeing a silver lining... If the cabin is F150 based... then F150 front clip might be interchangeable. More importantly, the Raptor F150 front clip might be interchangeable.

This is a huge disappointment to me... The old front end has such an imposing grill and a look of power... this new one looks like a Chevy grill mixed with a Lincoln Navigator. Just really not loving it at all.

The imposing height of the grill was one of the best parts of the old design.
