SEVEN Minutes??? Our tent deploys in about 5 seconds on gas charged shocks :-) It's an interesting idea though... wonder how good it is at staying rigid throughout the night. I would worry that a small leak could make it go down real quick...

Now playing

Oh don't worry - there will be huge amounts of pictures, videos, blogs. :) Keep an eye on CrankandPiston.com's Journal feature - it will start to feature on there. Looking at about 2 years to build the car and will be taking the LE50 to the next level with some slightly more aggressive styling, more power, wider track

Oshkosh and the US Military are already working on autonomous trucks... a great way to supply troops through dangerous areas with IED's and mine fields without risking the lives of the truck drivers.

They will absolutely have improvements that they already know about planned for the 2017 model... and 2018... and 2019...

As someone who is in the process of buying an essentially new MGB-GT - a Frontline Developments MGB LE50 built on a British Motor Heritage body with Mazda drivetrain parts - I love the idea of the MG name gaining popularity. However, I don't like the current offerings from MG-China... Jaguar has made incredible

As with all things on Jalopnik - the answer is always the Miata :-)

I see no reason why this car could not be put into limited production today and sell for Lamborghini money. Somebody needs to make it happen.

Without a doubt - the 1959 Cadillac. It's one of America's greatest car designer's greatest designs. Harley Earl was pumping out some incredible designs across the GM range at the time and the '59 Cadillac is - in my mind at least - one of the best. I would think the solution is to widen the gaps between the platforms. But shh.... lets wait for them to complete the 68 million euro widening of the platforms and then announce that they have to spend another 68 million euros narrowing the platforms. :-)

I've seen first hand a Brabus built classic Mercedes 280 SE out here in Dubai - and was fully expecting to open the bonnet and find a modern Mercedes AMG 63 engine or something of that sort shoehorned into it... but nope... nothing of the sort... they're 100% original builds using new old stock parts or flawlessly

Thanks! Cars are meant to be driven - not kept for display only :-) It was fun to bring the car out and make that point :-)

haha thanks! :-)

Thanks! I love how it wags it's tail through the slaloms :-) You do have to be careful with those fins though - they're so far behind the car that when the front of the car steers left, the fins briefly go right :-)

That would be cool to see! Closest I can come to that is that I have Autocrossed my 1959 Cadillac. Check out the Body Roll!

A little less air in the tires and that buggy could have crawled out of that hole...

Amazing that you can earn such a high amount with virtually no grammar skills whatsoever. Good for you.

Thanks :) Spitting flames is definitely a key requirement for a supercar :-)
