This is everything my childhood and teenage years were made of . Thank you for the nostalgia.

Right? Every trailer or TV spot has been roughly the same. If anything *this* one feels like it has the MOST quick cuts.

They also made an Easter Island stop-motion with WWF figures as the islanders:

So glad you liked it! We'd love to actually do more historical pieces.

I assume this is from all the steam and water escaping the wood as the current cooks it.

It would be worth it if they did it by seasons. Like focus one season on the origin of the Templars (and believe me, the Crusades are just riddled with lots of great drama), another season here later on, another season here...maybe go for three or four seasons tops so they don't draw out too much.

It's difficult to develop good characters if you keep hopping through time like that, though I also wish they had chosen a story about the Templars other than their demise.

I'm okay with them doing this as long it is clear that it is fiction, and as much as possible it tries to be historically accurate (something they do with Vikings). Ideally they should then tie in a lot of resources that lead people to the real history that it is based on.

I haven't seen Vikings, but I prefer the idea of fictionalized dramatic retellings of real history to freaking Ice Road Truckers. If they're making another one the first one doubtless made money for them and more historical content is a good thing in my book.

Actually we use something called knife and fork... maybe you've heard of it? its quite popular here in Denmark...

I've seen your posts on sword fighting before, I really need to get out and observe sometime. calgarys motto is "onward!" So sure everything will be just fine...

Still cute.

Exactly. Majestic and awesome as fuck.

Aw shucks! :o

I was in Edinburgh and, seeing as the glasses were impossible to get hold of, the cloud cover actually did us a favour, as we could look right at it at points. Nature's eclipse glasses ;)

I know that we humans domesticated breeds a long time ago to get the farm animals we have now, and saying that domesticating more wild animals is bad can contradict the past. Yes, I eat meat. No, I do no want the animals to have miserable lives of pain before they are utilised for my survival. Yet with the list of bad

For all I love Groot (and I LOVE Groot), I think I came out of the cinema with Drax as my new favourite character. I've always been a sucker for the "straight man" in comedy - it's why Leslie Nielson was such a genius in Airplane/Police Squad.
