I moved here 3 years ago, you grow to love the weirdness that is Kalle Anka and the fact that you open presents a day early. The gingerbread cookies and cake here also is amazing.

...I really hate Kinja's comment system.

Problem is they could have treated the sword in the reboot as a saber, and it would have been very obvious, as saber fencing still *looks* like fencing. In the reboot he's doing stupid flip spin stuff instead. Whipping his katana around like it was a lightsaber and he was in a prequel movie. He wasn't even using a

Ravenous is such a fantastic little film. Totally underrated. And the soundtrack is excellent.

Couldn't enjoy this. Literally all I was think was "I'm about to watch a man lose a thumb".

I noticed he was wearing a glove on the hand holding the saw, and NOT the hand holding the ball being sawed, and now that's all I can see because it just seems like the dumbest, most backwards thing to do in that situation.

Still kinda neat, though.

I had the same expression I'm pretty sure, and I laugh every time I watch it now. And yes our ancestor dudes were hella smart and didn't have TV or Computers to distract them. :p

I get all kinds of giddy when the trebuchets in Minas Tirith start doing their trebuchet thing.

Imagine the conversation with the college guidance counsellor:

So many cool projects of his are gone now.

A Dam Busters redo using the techniques used on Lord of the Rings of awesome minatures and cg enhancements.

But when do cats really respond to their names anyway? ;-)

I will buy the sword only if it comes with the tiny barbarian queen pictured. I need a Nana Conan.

The most threatened I've ever felt during sword class was during our grappling sessions. We review grappling and are exhorted to apply ourselves with effort, keeping in mind to tap out when reasonable. That's not so fun during the choke hold breaks that are run through the templates we use. It puts me in a weird mood

This was my first answer too. All of them, especial ones in the past.

Yeah. *heavy sigh* I just want to shake people sometimes.

Mine (Franklin) likes to sit on the edge of the tub and watch me shower, and he's even slipped into the tub while trying to play with the water. He LOVES being curled up in the sink while I'm getting ready for my day and won't even budge when I turn the water on. It's to the point now where he actually bolts over to

She's beautiful :) My kitties are the same, they usually show up to the front door when I get home and if my boy is outside he'll come running to the front steps when he hears my car pull up. I've always said he acts more like a dog than a cat. They are brother & sister strays I adopted, so I don't know how to explain

Such a beautiful kitty!
