Me too.

Agree. Just to add, I feel like the spot we're most lacking is the 'teach our boys not to be predators' part. We've been trying for YEARS to teach girls to be confident with minimal success. Especially considering how 'we' treat them when something horrific like this happens. Time for parents .... No for everyone to

I was honestly surprised the one girls brothers haven't already tied the kid to a fence post and beat every sexual thought he had ever had right out of him.

my best friend's mom is a bitch and dropped her of at school, announcing in the driveway in front of the building that her grandmother had died, and then sent her in to school. She was an absolute wreck. So i was giving her a hug in the hallway trying to help her calm down enough to go to class and one of the

YES! That too!!!

Ahhh. That makes sense.

We weren't bullied "to death" because we got a break! We got to go home after school and recover and reset in our minds and try to rebuild ourselves to face another day of it. We got the weekends away from it all. WE got a break. With FB and twitter and instagram, there are No. Breaks. Ever.

Agree. The "awareness" bit is what makes me the most angry. Like, I'm pretty sure we all know it's a thing. Is there anyone running around the US really denying that breast cancer is a thing??? Makes me crazy.

As for the "know where your dollars are going", make sure to check around your own local area. I'm in a county that has a Cancer Coalition dedicated to raising money to give residents facing a cancer diagnosis practical assistant. We do grocery and gas cards, pay bills, buy prescriptions etc. The org is 100%

And on a week day no less!! Like I'm gonna go to work without a bra! No one is going to ask me WHY, they're just going to think I'm sloppy or something!

oh my! you ladies (and gents?) are so so very lovely!! Thank you for the suggestions and tips on my "designer" baggage. ;) I mostly posted originally to boost Petrlchor.

Not sure why the few of us on this comment thread would be offended, since it appears none of us have gotten an ivy league education, or at least not mentioned that. But, I can see your point. I got a BA from a state college, but I still never felt some huge push to do something huge with my career. Then again, my

There is actually a whole counter-movement to start battling against that very idea. I am a Christian and for totally unrelated personal reasons stepped away from the church last year. As I've explored what my faith means to me in the aftermath of my grief I ran across more than a few people who are starting to work

Oh honey. Virtual HUG.

You can do concealer??? That is the one thing I have never been able to master. With my massive under eye circles I've always wanted to, but it always looked like it made it worse! :(

As i typed it I could hear Billy Crystal's voice in my head, but I think there is something similar somewhere else in the entertainment world. I just can't remember where. According to google i am nuts, because the first 2 pages were When Harry Met Sally and the next page was nonsense. Yay for us and our having good

scraping by and taking names

ok. a "like/recommend" on this isn't strong enough. Yes!

You're not alone! I probably "peaked" somewhere in college, but the rest, yep, me too. According to google the next thing past beta is gamma. I'd be good being a Gamma Girl. ;)

My best friend and I are both in this boat. She is marriedbut I am not. She used to be a bank teller and got asked often if she had kids and would say no. Asked when they were starting and told the questioner they weren't having any. Then, this is my favorite part of this scenario, they would stare at her blankly
