Those batteries are going to make a beautiful fireball and light show when gravity wins and it always does and that Tesla burns up on re-entry :)

I looked at one of these when new and 1/2 the price at the Pontiac dealer, never mind that you can’t store the t top, I’m a diver and it wouldn’t hold me dry gear either. Putting wet gear on the front seat is out too!

One of those “What if’s” in my life. A neighbor had an FC sitting in his back yard for years. I was going to ask him if he had plans, if not I wanted to take it on as a project but then it was gone :(

Now this 1935 Singer needs a helicopter rotor starter to finish the package

I was working the parts counter at a Chevy dealer in Trenton, woman comes in, says she needs a door knob, I ask what she is driving, left or right, you could see the wheels turning, inside or out, more thinking. I bring out the door handle. She says, no the bathroom one is brass and round!

Stupid law, as I walk the dog around my neighborhood which came with one and two car garages I see families with two or more teens so at least four cars, yeah they could put two in the garage but I’m thinking in Minnesota that’s where they keep the snowblower and snowmobiles.

Back in the 70's when I was in the imported auto parts business we would entertain ourselves but reading the wild claims on the “Made in Japan” parts that couldn’t possibly be backed up.

The long shifter would be an improvement, quick shifts on my 67 GT-350 and the shoulder harness would lock up and I would end pushing the shifter forward with my finger tips :(

Actually on British roadsters the top and the heater were options, the tonneau may have been too. We had a few customers in Princeton who didn’t have tops and I would loan them one in a box for NJ State Inspection who didn’t buy; “The car didn’t come with one.”

I read the headline backwards. I worked for an import dealer, most imports don’t have demo programs so he would title the car to you and make the payments. Then one day he upped and disappeared, all of the accounts were emptied, taxes withheld were not paid, cars sold had not been reported to the bank and everyone

They could sell these in gated towns and RV parks where golfcarts are street legal

Some kids told me I should jack up the rear of my car to make it look like a race car.

When that video hit the TV my 1st thought was it’s not a Toyota, they are grounded to the ground!

You were lucky, my dive buddy boarded a flight, neither the travel agent nor the airline caught that her passport had expired.

I had a customer block a trash dumpster at a diner, the cook couldn’t get to it and dumped the grease from the grill on his windshield :(

So I guess pouring boiling water in the gas tank to thaw the frozen fuel lines won’t work either :(

For all those nay sayers who don’t think a CUV can offroad, well at least once it could :)

You left out an important part. I sold a riveted clutch disc to an engineer, seems engineers in the 70's bought SAAB’s and Volvo’s. The next day he was back and explained to us that we had sold him an inferior disc, that those rivet holes created suction when the disc material was compressed and then he couldn’t

You got a pre lit tree, sweet!

Or in NJ where you can’t see 5' and the hood is longer than that :(
