I bought a whole ass Game Boy Advance just for that game as a FFT diehard, and you know what, it sucked. I didn’t get to have that great Tactics feel again until the PSP release of War of the Lions.

Yeah hands are tough and I’ve seen them drawn badly before, but like, I feel like a human artist would have recognized that the fingernail goes on the end of the finger and not halfway along. Like it’s a different degree of wrong.
I remember Chrono Trigger costing $80 on SNES, and that was 1995 dollars.
Video games should have gone up in price ages ago. The problem is not the price. 70$ is a fair price for a game I’m going to sink dozens of hours into. And a bargain for an Assassin’s Creed or GTA where you can spend over 100 hours. The problem is that we need more 10-20 hour mid tier 15$-30$ games.
Yeah, complaining that “there’s inflation AND this thing costs more!” is like complaining that it’s raining and you’re getting wet.
Just like the others, I came here to say the same thing. I really don’t understand this website’s stance - I know each author is allowed their own opinion, but I just thought that if you cared about developers and the health of the industry, you understand that large games cost much more to create than they ever have,…
I miss Moogles and Espers.
... Yeah, I SUPER don't trust anyone at Square Enix to depict hate crimes.
The most famous example I am aware of is Apple’s “goto fail” bug that was caused by a single line of code being duplicated, and it broke SSL encryption.
>”Given the patch is only 1GB, it can’t be an enormous number.”
Yeah that confused me. I don't think they fully understand how things work lol.
The thing about Charles Martinet is I don’t think his usual performance is something I’d want to sit through for 80 minutes.
That’s just some of the changes. It’s just baked in.
It’s truly wild that Square Enix doesn’t have all the retro Final Fantasy games on every platform at this point. The fact that their 2D classic RPGs all have relatively modern versions at this point and yet are unavailable on any of the modern consoles is truly bonkers. Just port the FF games and Chrono Trigger to…
I played 1, 5 and 6 on SD. Sure, the GBA content is missing (which is hit or miss), but there are so many small changes that really add up.
Yeah, what’s weird is...I think this year kinda ruled for Square?
10. Grand Theft Auto V
It's Professor Turo, with an R, short for "futuro" (future). "Tudo" is also a word, but it means "everything", so, you know, a very different meaning
It’s Sada and Turo, and they’re based on the Spanish words for “past” and “future,” “pasada” and “futuro.”
