Theft of intellectual property is still theft regardless of whether or not the owner still owns it after the theft. If I took your car without your permission and drove it around for a while and got paid to give people rides in your car and then returned that car to you I still stole your car.

Right, because it is always and solely for the benefit of the workers? ^^
Looking at the state of jobs today, there aren’t less of them, we’re not working (much) less, wages somewhat stagnate and the rift between rich and poor grows bigger and bigger. How is this any different than before?

The article cites artists who’ve found themselves pushed out of work by AI, and since our ability to eat and have a roof over our heads is (unfortunately) tied to said work, this means AI has directly endagered their ability to survive.

If we took care of people, as a rule, in our society, than I would agree with you.

you mean free people up to pursue a career in something fulfilling that they might actually enjoy, such as art?

Yeah, because past inventions and productivity increases ALWAYS free human beings up to do more interesting work or have more free time, right?

There is literally nothing ethically dubious about artificial intelligence.

I’m all for usage of more sustainable materials, but I’d argue not to extrapolate things too much to say it’s not great for the environment, shall we? You are missing the forest for the tree there.

as someone who was personally affected (and emailed this tip to kotaku) I can promise you this has nothing to do with hacking.

I’m a legit player, never hacked my switch...hit the bug today after about 100 hours of play. I’m not restarting.

My only Pops are Mandalorians or droids, so no faces.  I still think the dead-eyed stares of most Pops are creepy.

No, you’re thinking of trademarks. That’s not how copyright works, or every time we posted a screenshot of a game we’d be sued by the publisher.

Protecting a copyright means fighting against people infringing on it, not people writing a story about it. Your belief is why Monster Energy sued Monster Cables, and why Monster Cables sued Disney over Monsters, Inc. It’s about lawyers justifying a paycheck, not defending copyright, and it’s still the Streisand

No, it was sarcasm.

As always, expect the newest Tears of the Kingdom amiibo to fly off the shelves, as these little collectibles often sell out immediately.

And those vehicles look very unrefined, modular, and literally glued together

It’s not Metroid Prime 4, but I’ll take it!

Pretty major error in the post text. They didn’t announce the Trilogy - only the original game.

You really should edit this article. Metroid Prime 2 & 3 were not announced with this

I type fast and have played RPGs since 1989, so I’ll try and break it down a bit for you.
