No. I wasn’t the one you wronged.
No. I wasn’t the one you wronged.
I wish Square-Enix would decide on whether they want these ports to be HD or not. Final Fantasy VII and IX have upscaled characters but the original low-res backgrounds. Now Legend of Mana has exactly the opposite. Come on, people! Just pick one!
Don’t think anybody said anything about being “owed”. Sounds like you just like putting words in other people’s mouths. Perhaps an apology is in order?
Ah dang, meant to respond directly to the article with this post. Sorry, Vwtifuljoe.
It’s the sort of “cooperative” mode perfect for, say, a younger sibling or kid—just interactive enough to make them feel like they’re really, seriously playing. At the same time, it’s not so invasive as to allow player two to screw things up, by accident or on purpose, for player one.
Some people don’t have an attention span.
Make sure you raise the camera sensitivity. It defaults to “Low” for some reason and it’s really tough to get it where you need it to be. The “Normal” setting worked great for me, though who knows why “normal” isn’t the default.
Yeah, if you’re playing co-op, the more experienced player should be playing as Bowser Jr. It’s difficult to describe how frustrating it is to play as a character that the camera does not care about. Mario’s faster move speed in this 3D World release carries over to Bowser’s Fury, and if Mario does anything other than…
Yeah, I see that now. I was in a meeting, so I couldn’t watch the video at the time. Thanks for letting me know.
Is there a release date?
What they mean is that the kingdoms on Odyssey are still separated from each other. Bowser’s Fury is just one huge area, much like Breath of the Wild’s main overworld.
Did you spot the other big mistake? It appears to be made out of some sort of fabric instead of metal.
It may look authentic, but it sure doesn’t look appetizing.
There, fixed it for you.
Are you sure I’m not the one paying attention? I’ll give you that the map tracks are different. But of the actual stage themes: the regular theme, athletic theme, underground theme, underwater theme, and castle theme are all versions of the same melody. So for 90% of the game, you’re listening to the same tune. Go…
But the real question is, why would anybody want to listen to the entire Super Mario World soundtrack anyway? It’s all the same song. I mean sure, it’s a pretty good song, but it’s hard to get over how incredibly lazy Koji Kondo was with this one, just churning out variations on the same theme. Maybe that’s what…
As someone who has listened to video game music a lot over the years, I was actually disappointed with listening to Celeste’s soundtrack outside the context of the game. It’s a great game and its soundtrack fits it perfectly, but there’s only one or two songs I actually enjoy listening to while doing other things.
Ethan, how does Cyber Shadow, a game that’s effectively 16-bit if we’re being generous, qualify as an “intensive game”?
If there is going to be an updated Switch and it is being delayed due to the continued success of the current model, then my question is: how many games are being delayed along with it? It seems like the Breath of the Wild sequel might be a perfect candidate for release alongside a more powerful Switch.
Best of luck! Here’s hoping you stay healthy.
