I used to volunteer for a sex info hotline and my co-volunteers and I would read his column every week. We'd read the questions and then say what we thought he should say and then we'd read his answers. @cirocco: I assume the issue is really deeper than that—he probably doesn't consult her about anything, not just dessert. But yes, dessert should always be an openly discussed consideration.

Yes, so aborting a fetus after it's born is not abortion, it is murder, as this horrible man did. I doubt that anyone would argue that what he did was right.

She really had two half-sisters named Patricia?! Like, for realz? Both maternal half-sibs? Because, I mean, come on! This lady's name is Oprah, and *both* sister's get the same common name?!

@the misanthropologist (on ouisconsing!): Being around an allergen might have a protective effect, but the absence of an allergen certainly does not *cause* an allergy. My point was more anecdotal anyway, as was the original comment.
