I am a 46B - I cannot even find a bra by mail order. I live in the country, so don’t have any good store options to try. Bra shopping is depressing.

Euchre is popular in southern Ontario, Canada, at least when I was growing up in the 70s and 80s. I never played, but many kids did during lunch in the cafeteria.

Thanks. This has been such a hard week for women. I really am amazed at how angry everyone is - I think we have all been seething for years, and now a release valve has been opened and we are all just exploding.

I couldn’t sleep last night, because I kept thinking about this - the laughter is what I remember about being bullied and harassed in school. I am sure the bullies barely remember it, but it has scarred me for life. I am in my fifties, and last night I kept thinking about things the boy next door said and did to me in

That was Brian Orser, who is a World Champion, double Olympic Silver medalist, and 8 time Canadian champion. He also coached the Men’s Gold and Bronze medalists at this Olympics. He is probably the best coach working in figure skating right now.

I attended the 1996 World Figure Skating Championships in Edmonton, which Michelle Kwan won, and in which Tara Lipinski finished 15th. I remember watching Tara in practices, where you could sit close to the ice, and her jumps were just *so* tiny. I remember being unimpressed by her and I wonder how both Michelle’s and

I *love* Cath Kidston. I was in the UK a couple of years ago, and I wanted to buy everything and bring it home. I did eventually buy a small case for my iPod, but I want more things!

My sister met Trudeau doing the Trudeau-mania days in the 60s, when she was a high school student. She has a picture of her friends with him, with a guy in the picture holding her purse for her while she takes the picture.

When my son was in middle school a few years ago, he had to come up with a collage. I can’t remember the exact topic right now, but I do remember doing a Google image search with him of “licking ice cream”. I have never shut the browser on my computer so fast in my life, but it was probably open long enough to scar

I live in the area and have attended Grasshopper games. I had not heard she was retiring, and so am sorry we missed her last game. She was a lot of fun.

I loved this miniseries. Absolutely fantastic!

Well, maybe you should try watching Outlander on STARZ. The wedding episode, which has been discussed here on Jezebel before, was very good, and showed realistic first time bad sex, among other things. The sex was an integral part of the plot, and showed how the more experienced bride Claire taught the virginal

I am not sure if this is complete or not:

I remember very little of my biology education from 30 years ago, but I always remember that the Viceroy butterfly mimics the Monarch butterfly, because the Monarch is toxic to predators, while the Viceroy is not. I remember a lab of looking at preserved butterflies pinned to boards, and trying to identify which were

The Avril Lavigne song was for the rescue of a different dog. Hope For Paws does great work - their YouTube videos make me cry, and I have donated to them, I will admit.

I am a Canadian living in North Carolina, so I have a lot of experience with grits, but not so much with polenta, so please bear that in mind. Grits are pale white and have the consistency of a really creamy oatmeal, but without the texture. Breakfast at a restaurant here isn't considered complete without a serving

Yay! This also means we might eventually get to my favourite books (#3 and #4). We will definitely meet Roger next year, a very young Lord John, and eventually young Ian too.

I live in North Carolina, near where some of the things in later books takes place, so it is fun reading about Salem, High Point, Edenton, and the Moravians (there is a Moravian church down the road from me). Historical fiction is much more fun when it takes place where you live.

One of the things I absolutely love about these books are the characters. They seem real. Bad things happen sometimes because people make poor choices, and sometimes they learn from their mistakes. The people are not perfect. I understand why some readers have problems with things that happen in the books, but
