THIS MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!!!!!!
What is wrong with you? I've had fun up til now, but now that you seem to be saying that because some women have lied about being raped we should never believe any women (and therefore rape should not be a crime since you came be punished for it), I'm done. You're either a troll or an MRA and either way you're not …
Are you bad at reading as well as thinking? I asked for citations for "your claim that there have been many documented cases", and now you're acting like I'm switching the goalposts by saying four is not many! No, you didn't prove what you think you did. Unlike you, I know people are irrational and sometimes commit…
BOOM, there it is people! This dude linked to a site called "falserapesociety" - clearly, an unbiased source that believes rape is real and not something made up by hiysterical women for no reason/to avoid paying $20 in cab fare. Because women are definitely not treated poorly by police or society when they do report.
But if messing up their car isn't a good enough reason, how about not wanting to go to prison? Or not wanting to lose their jobs? I don't see how you can dismiss those reasons so easily.
I'm an educated man, but I'm afraid I can't speak intelligently about...rape.
Are you kidding me? False reports of rape are around 2%. Using "Occam's Razor" would result in the claim almost certainly being true.
Do you have ANY citations for your claim that there have been many documented cases of women filing false rape claims to get free rides?
Your points are pretty silly. "Raping someone would be messy, and we don't want to mess up our cars!" "Why didn't she just call the police? It certainly couldn't have been because she was being threatened with further violence!" "He wouldn't rape someone because they might downvote him or he might miss a fare!" These…
No, the Opry didn't rescind anyone's membership for coming out. I think the person you're talking about is Chely Wright, who performed regularly at the Opry but hasn't performed in years, coinciding with her coming out.
There have been cases of female guards getting pregnant by male inmates, though, which is legally rape. Also, I think that female inmates are probably safer with female guards than male guards.
Yeah, I agree, but that's different than what Sprochete first said. If she was going to become something like an employee of the museum, that would be great. But just recording memories isn't worth the lower rent.
Is an oral history worth $32,000 per year indefinitely, though?
Do you not see the rest of that giant paragraph? Why would I quote all of that if the only problem I had was with the two words quoted at the end?
What do you mean she flounced?
I don't understand your comment. I wrote a long comment saying I thought the article was biased. You wrote a comment saying actually it's not, as if my opinion on the article was because of what some people were quoted as saying. This is not the case. The editorializing in the article is what I have a problem with.
I definitely agree with number 3. I think that the university could have handled this much better. BUT, I still have trouble with the other parts of the way this was reported. It wasn't "This thing that was problematic and bad happened, and the university reacted poorly, although there should definitely have been…
Doesn't meat have to be slaughtered in a certain way to be kosher? And that particular way is more humane? I think I read that, and that's why I associate kosher meat with being "better" than regular meats.
This post made me really uncomfortable. I found it belittling of the feminists on campus, which was surprising to me. This line in particular is ridiculous:
