You won. Amazing.

I didn't know that! I grew up in a very uh...white small town and I just didn't hear about people having issues with dairy when I was young. The first person I knew with a lactose intolerance lived in the big city of Minneapolis.

A tangentially related question. Have people always been so sensitive to milk and dairy? It seems like it's grown a lot in the last generation but like autism it could just be due to having diagnoses and more information available.

At what point does an heiress go from being the young, pretty rich girl that can do whatever she wants to the woman who's trying unsuccessfully to hold onto her ridiculous youth because she has no future plan? I feel like Paris is firmly walking that line. She's getting a liiiiiiittle too old for these shenanigans.

Nothing good happens on the roof of Chipotle, that's why I only eat burritos on the roof of Qdoba. Last week on the podcast of Slate's Mom and Dad are fighting, Emily Yoffe told a story about her daughter being offered marijuana on the roof of a chipotle. But I think that location had tables and chairs on the roof for

Yeah, there exists a strange environment on the forums in the Glow app between very young women (in their teens) and 20-30s women who are all trying to conceive. Lots of the younger women are very sensitive about the 20-30 something's questioning why they want children so young. I mostly avoid the forums altogether

I'm just going to give the doctor the benefit of the doubt (for funsies) and say they maybe he phrased it more along the lines of "you will lose your fertility soon. You're fertile now but it will drop off around age 20-whatever and then you'll no longer be able to conceive or have a very small percent chance". Maybe

Yes, because taking a child away from a parent that actually wanted the child (as opposed to a donor who was not interested in having a child) is the right thing to do for the CHILD to avoid paying child support. For a child you don't actually want to support. Just don't "donate" sperm under the table maybe.

Along with all the people saying that wouldn't stand up in court, if someone is looking for sketchy people online to impregnate them because they can't afford a sperm bank, I doubt they'd splurge for a lawyer to draw up that contract.

I started getting migrains when I was 8 years old right around the same time I started wearing glasses. Then I wore contacts from about age 13 to 24. The more years I wore contacts the more often my eyes would get irritated and the more often I would get migrains. Sort of like how some people get migrains from bright

Stories like this make my LASIK surgery sooooo worth it. It was a life changer. But regular use of contacts irritated the fuck out of my eyes and gave me headaches all the time. And that's after using them properly.

I would love a perfectly clean and organized house. And when (not if) I make enough money to justify it, I'll probably hire a cleaning service. But for a chore that will just have to be done again and again and isn't really value added and I just really don't enjoy doing, I avoid it as much as possible. But I would

I bought Thinking fast and Slow on my kindle last year and all I learned was a fool proof way to fall asleep! So 6.8% sounds about right.

I wish my brain worked like this! I can screw around and day dream foreva and my blinds are surely not very clean.

I do a lot of my day dreaming and thinking while another part of me is actively engaged in activity. As a young teen I worked in corn fields during the summer. I could more than adequately detassle corn while deep into my own thoughts. I'm sure when you're a proficient knitter a lot of it can be done almost by muscle

She says that right in the article:

I'm an engineer and I've been drug tested at all the places I've worked. I'm sure it has something to do with not allowing people with substance abuse problems being near or working with very dangerous machinery.

This is terrible of me, but I can't remember if the hamster is in it! I watched it when it first came out and I think I've tried to forget most of it! Haha. I will say I didn't like Ranger either. He was super hot but not who I pictured for that role either.

I read like the first 19 Stephanie Plum books. I've since given up because they kept getting worse. Anyway, when you're that invested in a character as most of her readers were, you just have a really developed idea of who the character is and what she looks like, acts like etc. I don't hate Katherine actually but she
