Been a metal head since I was a pre-teen, and I can't tell you how many times I heard "But you're a girl!" and/or assumed I liked what my boyfriend at the time liked (I didn't...the Megadeth v. Metallica arguments we used to have were awesome, by the way).

OPI's Skyfall is probably my very favorite nail color ever. It's the perfect red for me. If only they made it in a lipstick!

OMG I had someone pronounce it as "hors doo-vors" once. I think it was someone who worked with me at the University....

What bothers me is that he's also probably correct that they'd "make" their daughters get an abortion. Make. As in force.

I don't understand why people keep using this as a defense. Isn't this the second time in as many weeks?

I loved Spike until he tried to rape her. After that, not as much.

6. Jim Bob. It's hard to not feel sexy when someone is constantly trying to impregnate you.

I feel like this movie is going to be severely lacking in actual GODZILLA. I will be really disappointed if so.

Does this sound to anyone else like dude made a play and got shot down? And also that he might have a hair fetish?

I had the same though - I stuck on the "sub-human" part before I even saw mongrel, and my hackles were up. :/

I don't like kids. Decision made.

I prefer to believe I had a really good artist. ;)

I don't normally feel this strongly about runway fashion, but...this is just plain fugly and i hate it. I can't even begin to fathom the thought process behind it. Someone actually thought that this was a good idea?

Mine didn't.

Mine are strategically located so as to be hidden by everyday clothing. I don't really care if they're "accepted" or "edgy" or "unique" or what have you. I wanted them and that was that.

I didn't, actually. I styled her hair, changed her clothes, and pretended to send her off to work and parties and had her play house with Ken. I did spend a lot of time saving her from my brother, though - seventeen years older than me (he was in his twenties when I was playing with dolls) and he thought it was

I wanted to try it, but I am allergic to aloe.

It bothers me that porn starts aren't viewed as people. I guess really I should have picked up on that a lot earlier, but to have it basically spelled out...it makes me so sad.

Bath & Bodyworks used to sell Rose Cold Cream from C&O Bigalow. I ADORED it. I wore Merle Norman's Luxiva Lasting foundation back then (I don't have a studio nearby anymore and it's not sold online) and it was the only thing that would get it off properly. It's completely gone now, but I like Lush's version okay.

Ugh, no thanks. I thought jeans were the most uncomfortable, horrid things until the whole low-rise thing started. Those are at least tolerable.
