Along with the pile of horseshit these women have had to deal with, the knowledge that the US Soccer Federation is obviously wasting the ladies' hard-earned prize money on some shit lawyers must be particularly galling.

To be honest, this entire comment section is pretty gross to read. I get that people dislike Bernie Sanders, but I don’t understand this pervasive sense that he’s some narcissist who is not earnest about his policy goals, or that it’s unreasonable for him to take Biden to task on these policy questions.

Why do you think this will push people away from Joe Biden?

Yeah, the argument that Sanders put forward during the campaign was “We have a bloc of voters that will show up, and will put us over the top, who will vote for me, but won’t vote for just any candidate.”

He’s going to need support from everyone to win in November. That includes the left. If you know that left voters are currently cold on Biden, shouldn’t he take the opportunity to get them on his side? That’s going to be easier to do now than in the fall.

I think that’s the most reasonable take, but I’m okay with it? Joe at this point is so nebulous as far as to what he would do that I would vastly prefer someone who is actually left to attack him from that direction so he can iron out and adjust priorities if need be for the general. If he isn’t challenged by Bernie

Probably not, but shouldn’t the presumptive nominee answer these questions?

This is exactly what I thought too. I likely wouldn’t be as messy on public tv as Barb, but I would absolutely freak out if one of my kids brought home an evangelical Christian, especially one who has already demonstrated* that she maybe wasn’t on the show for the right reasons.

Yeah, I’ve been seeing this attitude a bit on Twitter, and the whole kind of reeks of Christian privilege to me. I mean I do think Peter is immature and nowhere near ready for marriage, but I don’t think that some girl introducing more Jesus in his life is the best solution to that issue. There are a number of other

I think Jezebel’s central audience would argue that Madison can have consensual sex with anyone she wants, any time she wants, and that includes waiting until marriage, if she so chooses.

She also kept reiterating that she doesn’t want her son “to change,” which is exactly like saying she doesn’t want him to grow, which seems like a strange way to parent your adult son.

Is there an underlying reality here that Barb is fearful of Madi’s “values”as an Evangelical- i.e. doesn’t want her son to marry someone who potentially isn’t pro-choice, doesn’t support gay marriage, etc- and chose to not politicize this show, purposefully keeping her negative feedback very vague? Or am I giving Barb

I was so annoyed at how Becky Twitter talked absolute garbage about Barb last night. She’s a bit over emotional but she’s sincere and Madison is a little twit that needs to respect her elders. Especially a potential MIL.

She’s Charlie Kelly with a vagina!

This whole section basically lines out why this is total bullshit:

“Feminist” and “CPAC” cannot exist in the same space. The idea of any of these subs calling themselves feminists is cringe-worthy, to say the least.

Get a better job, huh. That’s the answer?

I clicked on the Let Them Live story and was stunned to realize that their contact person was the pregnant woman’s boss. Who apparently is now helping her employee finding a better job in order for her to be able to financially support her two babies as a single parent? I- Jesus Christ. Also it is awesome that this

Googles “total cost to raise a child to 18"

I’ve been wading my toes into “pro-life feminism” for awhile now, and I actually personally know one of the “pro-life feminists” mentioned above.
