Those pizzas are the best! Even for non-veggies. I just wish they weren't so darn expensive. *goes to cry in mountain of debt*

LOL I definitely see that happening. (Happens with me.)

Have you tried using a stationary bike? I had that same problem with treadmills.

You've finally found a practical use for them! *gasp!*

Wait. What??? Who the frag does that?

Yeah... I always found that rating to be completely inappropriate on that site.

Luck may be a part of it, but without hard work I'd be nothing.

I feel the same way about loans and investments. My parents never chose to partake in either.

I wouldn't say dry organizations "slut shame" their members. Although I can say that there have been many talks on how to properly behave in public. Although I think the member needs to look at it not in a slut shaming manner, but as preparation for professional life. My organization didn't care who, or how, you

I can definitely agree that the professional and academic ones are just a resume buffer (they usually have a minimum GPA.) I was a part of a couple (one grade based and one profession based) and honestly, I would love it more if I actually wanted to go to the conferences they hold yearly.

SIX? I thought it was only 3. I guess that's another thing that's changed in this job market... :(

FYI, please read my response. Coughlin26 had a response based on media stereotypes. Hopefully my response will help clear up any misconceptions you might have.

I was lucky enough to be a member of a sorority in a "dormless" university.

And this is exactly why I don't understand the idea that it's "taboo" to talk to your children (and peers) about money. While the school system should have a class on finances, I feel that parents should take the time to have their kid sit with them while paying bills.

I'm guessing it was a civil service (government) job? I loved that ability when I was looking into those kinds of jobs. Let me assess how much I needed to improve my resume to get my "ideal salary"

I concur with this sentiment. My company is on the lower end of salaries, but we pay literally next to nothing for excellent health insurance (about the cost of a lunch a month) and have an insane amount of paid time off.
That makes it well worth it in my mind. (Even though I don't "need" the extra vacation time per
