The pledge was written by a socialist, for God's sake. And his cousin wrote the God-awful utopian novel "Looking Backwards" which is also basically nationalist and socialist (pre-Nazi, that is). The conservative support for the pledge is yet another nonsensical, hypocritical position in which they engage.

"the soldiers are out there, they're doing their job."

This is literally the answer to everything. Why even think about anything?

Did we learn nothing from calling a show Cougertown?

YOU ALL KNOW MY PAIN. LET'S START A SAD, HATLESS SUPPORT GROUP.

No, that's not what I said. A healthy distrust of police, especially when they're trying to explain away a shooting is usually a good idea.

Yeah, people call the police and their family members ends up dead. This might be one of those justified things, but I would strongly suggest not assuming that to be the case.

Oh God, the real life stuff in that movie. Mrs. Strauss really did refuse to leave her husband and all.

Are you me?

No they don't, dude. It depends on who you are, where you live, and what you called about. (Hilarious that you think random people complaining occasionally makes cops do anything.)

And the Supreme Court has ruled that cops have no obligation to protect specific individuals (unless they had a specific agreement, such as

Oh, I know it does. And yeah, cowardly vile business people group together and demand that unsightly poors get off "their" sidewalks all the time.

Heh. I thought that's what I thought you meant, I just had to check.

Cookies for all!

One of the only cops I ever liked became a cop even though her abusive ex was one, and even though when she was raped at 18 the cops told her she was asking for it.

Yes, I was incredulous at her career choice.

There are plenty of people who are cops who are not bad people. The institution itself (as well as the laws in
