You’re just talking about Manhattan :( New York has other boroughs. Brooklyn is awesome. Your “new Yorker” friends should have known enough to take you there. There’s even double decker tour buses cruising through Brooklyn, now! :/ Come back and visit Brooklyn. A 26 YO is the perfect age to blend in Western Crown

Clearly you’ve never met anyone with an true porn addiction :/ They exist and it can wreak havoc in personal relationships. Sadly not everyone can be sensible about consumption of it!

I have a co-worker who likes to microwave fish for breakfast :( My oatmeal came out fish tasting that morning. I hate the smell of fish so much I won’t eat it, ever, so this was doubly tragic :(

The secret to fixing that is to do intermittant non-drinking days to lower your tolerance. i.e., don’t drink every day. The longer break you take, the more of a lightweight you become! (also, saves you $ when you aren’t drinking!)

What brand of pen do you use? I store brand NJoys aren’t cutting it and the Safe Cig now rebranded as Atlantic eCigs also didn’t work for me. :/

I thought that too. I’m 34... lots of attempts to quit but none stuck. Smoking more now than I used to back then. :/

I was also the tallest or 2nd to tallest kid in all my classes until puberty. I LOVED being tall. Then everyone else grew and I barely did. I’m still so sad I didn’t end up taller. I wore heels for a long time but it gets harder and harder on my knees and joints as I get older. I’m 5’3” and my office deskmate is 6’3”

:/ Seriously, look into Bernie’s platform a bit more. He’s the only voice not being propped up by the Street. The Republican primary will be a shit show but Hilary is too embedded in Wall St for me to vote for her, even though I want a female candidate to hold office, in my lifetime. I’m not going to vote for a woman

Is it possible that they are planning on you and your spouse taking them in? What other choice is there, if they don’t have enough money to survive on their own? Will your spouse let their parents be homeless if they can’t afford another home? My parents are Korean so I understand the hiding the head in the sand thing

thank you!

Can I ask who your seamstress in Flatbush was?

The title is a little headline-y but the innards are solid. I give this as a college graduation gift to each of my little cousins. I’ve got a lot of them and the first few came to me for money advice in the 2nd or 3rd year out of college so I just started gifting this book to them all as they get closer to that age.

City living means I will probably never need a gardener, lawn service, nor housekeeper but a suburban family in their 20s would also need these things if they had to go to take care of sickly parents or friends for that matter, too and they’d have less funds with which to deal with them. My parents bucked the norm of

I def don’t have millions but I am planning on having my first child when I am 38, 3 years from now. By focusing on making sure I was economically stable first, I got to make sure I got time to be wild and a little irresponsible and think about if I actually wanted to be a parent, rather than just having a kid because

You could get a Toto Washlet, instead of the whole toilet. I have one. The price changes a bit on Amazon but if you lurk long enough you can get one for a little over $800. I lurked and got a 10% giftcard bonus refund on my tax return by getting part of it back as an amazon gift card (through Turbo Tax) so got it for

Ha! I should have scroleld down before posting! I just posted this in response to someone’s Beauty and the Beast picture!!

A freind of mine grew up in a house with my dream library. It was egg shaped and you walked into the fat end of the egg through large, brass and wood double doors, and are opposite an immense and very tall, but intricate stained glass window and then you realize you are surrounded by 2 floors of floor to ceiling books

I really do hope even if you don’t win the lottery that you use the Farrow and Ball paint in at least 1 room in your current house/apartment. I splurged on Pelt (in matte) for my living room and even though everyone I knew, including my professional painter, was surprised I spent so much on paint (get the F&B base

$20 for a mani/pedi (both) on Wednesday afernoons in FiDi. Usually it is between $14-20 for a regular pedi and $9-12 for a regular mani. At least that I’ve seen over the years.

I set up custodial accounts for my nieces but it’s because I specifically didn’t want to contribute to just higher education. My brother & SIL are on top of saving for their colleges but I figured I wanted to teach them about investing and every BDay and holiday I buy a stock for each of them. So you understand, in a
