I can never get enough of posting this argument in front of the Supreme Court concerning the state of Texas and their appalling behavior concerning laws that are not based in sound medical practice.

Every single time these type of issues come up, I remember the countless arguments I got into with Bernie Bros that they HAD TO VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON if for no other reason than to preserve a liberal supreme court (it’s all the reason they needed). I think so often these conversations are framed in a way intending to come across as ‘six weeks is ages, you dithering slut, why would you need longer than that anyway?’ and cheerfully ignoring actual reproductive biology and the possibility that not all women have predictable cycles anyway.

Let this be a reminder that unlike what certain self described progressives say, we absolutely cannot compromise and allow antiabortion people on the Democratic ticket in an effort to win seats.

I get that tattoos are not for everyone and personal taste and all that, but equating tattoos to self-harm is pretty shitty.

Had my first at 31, my second at 33. For years I felt so gross, unhealthy, and like I had no purpose in life other than to take care of my family. So I never got dressed up, never did my hair etc, and I constantly felt inferior to everyone. Flash forward....I’m 45 now.
