I feel like Rory’s and Jess’s development were at odds: she devolved while he evolved. By YitL, I feel like he was too good for her. A lot of what I disliked about YitL though is that it felt like they were trying to hard to put Rory on a similar path as Lorelei and it just made no sense.

I only watched it once as well, but there were some legit mean bits. Rory was pretty insufferable the last few seasons, and she’s no better here. Still cheating, although I think she and Logan deserve each other and if nothing else, at least he knows who he is. I hate what they did to Lane, but I guess at least she’s

“[My] boobs are still the same,” she joked.

Love your user name!

Thank you for allll if this. It’s so helpful. I’m fat as well and that also impacts effectiveness of meds (did they even test on fat folks let alone enough fat women to know anything?) so that even when my healthcare providers aren’t biased, everything is a crapshoot given my mental health issues. Sending you love

I love digestives (when I can find them) and I don’t know why I never thought of trying to make them myself. I love the toothsomeness and I’m a sucker for that hint of caramel (from the golden syrup no doubt). Bookmarked!

Stannis finding out about Shireen from Selyse would be a hell of a character moment and I’m sad that’s not what we got. It would be a failure of leadership, which given how much he believes he ought to be king, that it’s his right, would force him to face what has been done in his (and the Red God’s) name. If he makes

And as awful as Shireen’s death at her mother’s hands would be, it would also be so much more believable. For all of Martin’s faults as a writer, he creates very interesting characters and I guess that’s my biggest beef with D&D at the end of the day: they did not understand nor care to be faithful to the characters,

I remember coming across a Twitter thread from an actual Medieval historian who debunked this idea that child marriages amongst European nobility were commonly consummated while the bride was still a girl (which includes early-mid teens). It did happen, but only in “emergencies” (which, still very gross) to maintain

I’ve tried to get into Witcher 3 twice and have failed because there’s just so much to learn right off the bat. Silver or regular sword, oh, and I absolutely MUST pay attention to crafting potions AND spells at as well as my swords, all three at the same time? I’ve played a fair number of action and JRPGs, so it’s not

I wouldn’t say I adored it, but I’m eager for season 2 because 1) it didn’t take itself too seriously which is nice because after GoT, it seemed like everything had to be grimdark 2) like you said, the acting is good and the actors seem to enjoy themselves 3) I really, really, really needed a new escape.

I read “The Last Wish” and the first three I think? definitely at least two of the novels, and I just had to stop once Ciri hooks up with the gang. I find the action sequences dull, and the cast of characters is constantly changing. Just when you start to get a handle on them and care about them or what they’re going

Two words: Lizard people.

As someone who suffers from depression, anxiety, and asthma, this is terrifying to find out because I’ve been on several courses of it throughout my life (like, I don’t even know how many times...maybe 15? 20?) and no one ever mentioned that. Good to know!

He must have pissed off his stylist and MUA also because WOW that is a pretty awful look.

I almost wonder it would be more effective if they’d played it entirely straight had showed how it would have gone if Trump wasn’t such a raging narcissist.

The prospect of a President Pence terrifies me far more than Trump because he’s more competent and palatable, but just as evil.

I was reminded by a Brit on Twitter that Boris Johnson’s popularity redoubled when he was diagnosed and I’m afraid that’s what’s going to happen here with all those milquetoast voters who prioritize performative niceness and the status quo over decency.

I like Rowan a lot, but I was really sad to see Mak go because I feel like he had more to still show us. Plus, Rowan was bottom of the technical (never a good place to be) and didn’t do particularly well on the other two bakes.

I’ve always like Sandy and Noel in other things, but they really were an odd pairing, despite Sandy being very game about playing in Noel’s absurd sandbox.
