It really is a goddamned treasure: amazing functionality, a very helpful community. Being able to look up my stash on the go has saved me so much money and impulse yarn-buying. Good on them.

(I read that in his glorious voice)
I really can’t see Marsden as Stu; he’s too pretty and Stu is an everyman type. Gary Sinise was inspired casting. (The 90's miniseries was kinda uneven when I re-watched it, but the casting was excellent.)
I picked up one of his frozen dinners the other day and was amazed (but not surprised) that it looked like actual, natural food. (It was pretty good, but a bit soggy.)
Penguins? Uh oh, Laurell K. Hamilton’s going to be next in line with a IP lawsuit. (Talk about another author whose work started off as fun fluff but then devolved into lazy self-plagiarism.)
One thing I miss about San Francisco is the chance of finding Pliny the Elder on tap.
Every single meal I’ve eaten in Penn Station.
I only watched the first ep. of Historical Roasts, but anyone who had any sort of authority over its content should feel very bad about themselves. Painfully bad.
Some of it was too cringy for my tastes, but it was good enough that I was able to power through most of it.
And now I really want a road show with Xena, Gabrielle, Brienne, and Pod. (Pod gets to feel like a complete bad ass whenever Joxar shows up.)
It’s nice to be reminded that despite the toxic cesspool that so much of the internet has become dominated by, there are still islands of people making fun shit and sharing passion projects.
I think my college marching band may actually have covered this at some point. (This was during the ska revival in the 90's. Their signature song was “Rubber Ducky” from Sesame Street and there were also two drummers who played pony kegs.)
God, and someone as rich as him could totally get a reclaimed water filtration system in place if he gave a shit about other people.
A place I used to go to in SF: Cali Pho Nia
RIP not having a Costco near me
Very excited to see this back; I just watched the documentary about the real GLOW which is well worth a view.
“They pulled a Cersei Lannister” is the most apt and most concise criticism.
This. They loved her character and her performance, so they wrote her in a lot but couldn’t come up with good things for her to do/say. The fact that they had her smirking with wine at least half of her screen time shows that they couldn’t even figure out to do with even one of their most favored characters. Heady…
I’m actually fine with Jon killing Daeny—I feel like there are plenty of strong narrative reasons why this makes sense and could be satisfying end—but I’m not okay with how they had it play out.
