"Not as tall as you would think."
"Not as tall as you would think."
Motion carried!
I would watch the s**t outta a Connie Britton/Adam Driver sex scene.
Brilliantly said. The whole situation is just awful but this is... worse, somehow.
I remember that! I was too. I mourned by sending my closest lady friends - via email - Moe's Tampon Story. Twice.
Ah! I came here just to say I remember the good old days before Slut Machine went all mainstream and started using her real name...
I confess.
Ack! Why can't I delete this post? Blerg. Please ignore. Written when too tired to read properly, apparently. Sorry Lindy!
I agree with virtually all of this post...
BUT... the joke on The Office was clearly done to illustrate the poor behaviour of the character, not to say that it was appropriate behaviour. It was showing how he was being completely superficial and not really giving the woman a chance. In that sense, the way I took that…
Awwwwww. I think that's really quite lovely.
What the everloving fuck is this? I can't... I just can't...
I wholeheartedly endorse this statement.
I really like Lena Dunham's look... it's got that casual/formal mix which I (unlike Callie) adore (I'll concede, though, that a v-neck t-shirt or scoop(ish) tank would probably have worked better than a button down that's all buttoned up). I don't think the cap sleeve is the most flattering sleeve length on her, but…
So... she broke up with Mathhew Perry?
Perhaps that is established wisdom, but shouldn't be? In my original post I'm literally just asking for the same exact clothes one size larger. Just size up the same pattern. I don't need (or want!) a different shape, I just need another two inches at the waist and another two inches at the hip. I WANT them to just…
Ack, it won't let me edit my other response! Generally, look for ones with "stretchy sides/back" rather than "over the bump" coverage: they tend to still have a front button, working zipper, and belt loops. They just have funny looking pockets or a gathered back waistband. Which I don't allow other people to see by…
I've only really bought them from ASOS, which use 99%cotton, 1% elastane denim for most of their maternity lines, so they really look and feel like jeans. I dropped a link in a reply to BurntEditor above? (Let me know if you can't see it, they're currently sold out in my summer colour [coral] but ASOS is pretty good…
I prefer the stuff with a trapeze hem, because it's usually tight on top (if bought small enough) but with enough volume to skim a pasta-belly. :)
Ha! I tend to find the reverse with their basic stuff; the hips fit a bit snug. But I may just be ostrich-ing re: my real size. :P
