Yeah, we have no idea what is going on with them. They could be broken up but working together to co-parent. Maybe they never broke up. Who knows so it’s not really worth speculating. We should just enjoy to sweet baby photos. Ugh, I’m trying to get pregnant and these photos are just so F-ing sweet. I can’t take it.

Would you be friends with someone who intentionally got herself pregnant with your kid, after you’ve been very open about not wanting kids, and doing so while you’re in recovery for alcohol and drug addiction, and then having the internet show proof that this woman has been OBSESSED with you for years and maneuvered

Totally valid. And I’ll admit I’m coming in way too strong as, having been around LA and subject to the weird hanger on culture it lives off of, it’s a bit personal; I have a former close friend who purpose sought to get pregnant by any level of celebrity because (and I shit you not she said this) “it will be good for

I totally remember when Drew Barrymore dated Luke Wilson. And they both starred in that movie where Drew played a pregnant fast food worker.

I mean, considering Michael Patrick King was one of the guiding forces on 2 Broke Girls...

But like, she couldn’t she say she was a fan of Che? Or there to support Carrie’s podcast? Or just there to support the LGBT community in general? She is an activist after all. I doubt Brady would have assumed ‘My mom must be having an affair with this event’s guest speaker!’ After all, why was Brady there? Is he

I guess she hid because she thought Brady might realize she was there for Che? I do wish Brady had some kind of interesting story line.  At least Charlotte’s kids have something going on.

I don’t know if this was me, but I’ve been grumbling about it here too. I feel like 2022 is far too late to be replaying the Ross/Carol storyline from the 90's, and even that (which was callous af most of the time) was more sensitive than this. No matter what #journey you think you’re on, you are accountable for your

So in the version of the show they wrote in the timeline where Hillary Clinton won the election, do you think Miranda:

True but of course in their world they'd likely get beaten to death if they didn't keep it a secret.

You would think that Brady’s college goals would be an issue? Like, they could even have done something with Miranda going back to school while her son was prepping for college. It’s so weird.

I’d say if there was one show that sought to normalize women doing things just because they were horny, it was SATC. But in this case they seem to have taken the new show’s title a little too much to heart. “And just like that, I was a queer woman walking out on her family.” Too bad Samantha’s not around with some

It’s really up to gender norms in media. Women aren’t allowed to be horny, so the narrative often involves them being unfulfilled and needing a connection. Meanwhile men are seen as “just thinking with their dick” so their cheating is either for someone younger/prettier, or in callous disregard of their partner.

I guess I was thinking back to how much of the parenting Magda handled in the original series. As a mom with a baby at the same time, I was so jealous for a Magda. Still, I felt like Miranda parented Brady enough to have more of a bond than “Meh, he has sex in our house now.”

I wonder how many of the writers are parents. They seem very disinterested in stories with the kids. When Miranda saw Brady at a gay pride rally -- she literally hid from him for some reason.

This show is maddening. The hypocrisy of Miranda repeatedly cheating on Steve after everything in the first movie is infuriating, and more so that she never seems to question if she is doing the right thing. The lack of any kind of remorse is frustrating.

It’s not a horrible show but it still hasn’t really justified its existence yet.

Yeah, The Mandalorian already basically traded in Fett’s cultural cache, leaving Book of Boba Fett without the ability to build a show around an armored, amoral, mostly quiet bounty hunter. So now we’ve got a fairly chatty Fett who’s largely unhelmeted and who decided he wants to be the employer. Which is fine, but

“What Star Wars fans don’t want: narratives that stray even a little from the consistently rote story structures that they’ve grown so fond of over the years”

It’s not a horrible show but it still hasn’t really justified its existence yet.
