Without a doubt! The things I would cook with that stove... and the food I could store in that massive fridge! It would actually keep my family stocked for more than a week! (The stuff of COVID-19 at-home fantasies.)

My biggest single issue is the kitchen island. It’s too much of the same material, and has an indent on the side for no apparent reason (looks like it’s designed for stools to go there, too, but there are no stools there--maybe they were moved for photos?). Also, the stools themselves are hella ugly.

This meme sums up how the day-to-day minutiae has been wearing me down.  Big picutre, my husband and I are doing pretty well, but being in close proximity with him and the kids while trying to work, do virtual learning and everything else just wears everyone’s patience thin.

Creative types putting out creative content for their fans to—presumably—ENJOY? How dare they?!?!

I had some leftover Chana Masala that my husband made last night (bomb!) with some leftover grilled chicken and part of an Aldi’s 90 second grains packet.

Yes, I’ve continued to do our shopping. In large part because there are 6 of us in my house, and given some grocery shortages, I have been able to duck out of work (from home) to go at off-peak times and get more of the items I need. I can also do instant decisions on what to get if an item is out. I did a huge shop

All of that is valid, and the hardest part is there is no clear correct answer.  You just have to do what feels most right and/or works for you.  Thanks for sharing.

You’re right that paid shoppers are the best application of the term. But we’re also seeing increased appeals from grocery stores in particular, hiring on workers to deal with the spike in demand. It’s not a 1:1 my risk vs. their risk, but those who are out of work and with the lowest level of safety net (heavily

THANK YOU for the insight on this. I’m a first-time dog owner, and need all the help I can get. I’ll reach out to her vet to get an opinion on the issue. It could very well be a response to having so much craziness around her all day right now.  I haven’t spotted any other symptoms or red flags.

I’ve been grappling with the fact that we live in a society where those who can afford it are outsourcing risk to those who cannot. On the one hand, it is safer overall to have fewer individuals out spreading germs. But for those who are on the front lines (paid shoppers, workers, warehouse and delivery people) are

Lol, virtual (social distanced) fist bump, lady. Like you, I am grateful for all of the big things, for which I’m extremely fortunate.  But that doesn’t mean we have to love every minute of it, or savor these precious times--it goes so fast! ;)

I understand that it may not be a rational response, but anger can be a symptom of anxiety.  I struggle with anxiety, and definitely find myself feeling anything from snippiness to full rage when I’m at my most stressed and overwhelmed.  I try to be mindful of it, not give in, and communicate how I’m feeling, but the

I relate HARD to this. I’m the primary earner with a job that’s gotten insanely busy in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. I normally work from home anyway, and now have to contend with 3 kids at home plus my husband working across the room (our bedroom) from me b/c it’s the only space we can both work with any kind of

Agreed--before I scrolled, I thought it was a new story on Bieber and his wife.  Gwen may not quite look like herself any more (at least from that angle--I think it’s the cheeks?), but she does NOT look anywhere close to 50.  I’m a bit in awe of the work on that front.

I also started going grey very early, and have started doing a lighter allover color (my base is dark) to just blend the grey like highlights. It’s super simple and cheap at home. I haven’t quite had the nerve to stop yet, but let’s see how long this thing goes on.

Food is a great unifier, and at a time when we’re all stuck inside, with a lot more free time, feeding ourselves and our families, it’s a special way for all of us to bond. I like to cook anyway, and have been sharing some simple favorite recipes with friends via social media. I also love (and get inspired by) what

Y’all, if you’re lip balm obsessed (like me) and find that they wear off too quickly, try a lanolin-based nipple cream. I started putting it on my lips out of laziness/necessity when I was trapped under a nursing/sleeping baby, and many years later, buy it solely for that purpose. It lasts forever—really stays on your

Right? I think any celebrity giving live advice (any time, but now more than ever) should have to disclose all of the services and staff they use/employ to allow them to live that way. Especially those celebs with kids. It should be like the fine print that comes with prescription drug ads.

I feel seen, thank you.  Enjoy those boots, and send me good shopping karma for their doppelgangers!

In the early aughts, I had a pair of pointy-toe, stretch, kitten-heel (like 1.5-2") boots. They came to the knee, and were made of thick stretch fabric, not microsuede.  I wore them into the ground, and have been looking for a replacement for YEARS.  Unfortunately, the ones that have come closest to replicating them
