Stunning! She's having such a moment right now, and I love it. I know not everyone likes her show (I do, with a few caveats), but she's an unabashedly smart, funny, talented WOC who's killing it all over the place and (seemingly) enjoying the hell out of it.

Now I can ONLY read this in an AHnold voice. (And I'm ok with that.) GET TO THE CHOPPER!

I read Devil in the Grove a few months back, and it continues to haunt me. The level of racism ingrained in our legal system—and not very long ago!—is something we should all be aware of.

I read this as "Conspicuous Uncoupling" and kind of had to hand it to her for being self-deprecating about it. But now that I realize it's actually "Conscious," and that it's a new-agey THING... blergh.

Yes, agreed on both fronts. She pulls it off as-is (IMO), but those alterations would make it more wearable for the real world.

Oooo, nice! I think that's a really cool look when done right. I have faith that you'll pull it off!

Yeah, I really dig her. She's clearly very smart, talented, and has her awkward moments, which I appreciate. And so freaking gorgeous.

Completely. Although another shot from the same trip showed her barefoot, so maybe she is human after all.

Can we talk for a minute about how fresh and stylish Anne Hathaway's ensemble is right here?

Exactly, exactly. The proportions are just all wrong, and it makes her look matronly. A shorter jacket, or none at all, would have been better. And the pants should be a tiny bit shorter to be a modern crop. The accessories are to DIE for. I'll add my voice to the call for her to get a new stylist, PLEASE.

It's pretty hard to get babies to play along with just about anything. He seems to be in full-on, tush-up baby sleep pose in the beginning.

That kid deserves ALL the awards for sitting there so stoically throughout her crazy-pants performance. I totally would have cracked. (Or, let's face it, joined in.)

Oh man, did NOT know that. So disappointing.

I find it baffling that men would give up the fly option for anything more than "special occasion." That seems like the equivalent of a woman wearing a jumpsuit, in terms of hindered practicality.

Bingo. This kind of awareness and empathy is going to be the main driver of any kind of legislation and/or changed consumption habits.

That's a situation where I could see huge benefits, but you're right about the unknown unknown's. I hadn't known you were pregnant with LPC #2—congrats!!

That's a point well made, and an apt comparison. And it gets back to why I'd like to see the term "feminist" neutralized a bit by being more widely embraced.

Being a feminist is not synonymous with achievement in the workplace. You can certainly be a housewife and a feminist. Or a million other things (including a man!) and a feminist. If, however, you believe that ALL WOMEN should stay at home, and don't believe that men and women should have the same paths open to

BRAVO! This is exactly how you answer this question. I am so sick of women who shy away from the term like it's a bad word.

I wouldn't be surprised. It's gotta wreak havoc on your system.
