I have obvious issues with the content of Blurred Lines, but couldn't help finding the song catchy as hell. This... is just a generic, auto-tuned disaster.

Growing up, one of my mom's horses was a big (17+ hands) spaz. Sweet, but flighty—we always had to be on alert when we were around him, in case something startled him. But he and one of our cats had a crazy connection. The cat would let the horse sniff and "groom" him, and the horse was always incredibly careful

Well said. There's a very fine line to be walked there, but if it's done well, it could be glorious. Having married into a mixed-Asian family... good lord, the comedy just writes itself around here.

Winner.

When you gotta go, you gotta go.

I'm right there with you. As a fellow parent-of-toddler, I am down with any (safe) circumstances that get parents out by themselves.

This really makes me miss my long-time hairdresser (I moved away). He is incredibly talented, and just a bright light of a person. I always walked away from the salon with a smile on my face from the great conversation, an extra bounce in my step, 'cause I knew my hair looked FLAWLESS.

I strongly disliked Drew's Golden Globes dress, and am thrilled to see her looking chic and glowy whilst pregnant here:

The mom's face is priceless. "Ok, so you're going to be house-training and walking this damn puppy, right?" (Or maybe I'm just projecting.)

I was sick last weekend, which meant I was desperate for ways to just get LaMorenita to be lazy and snuggle with me. So we went through my phone and looked at photos and videos of pretty much her entire life. She was a little tripped out at first, but then got really into it, and kept saying, "Look! Baby

I have a video of the first time LaMorenita saw herself in my phone with the forward-facing camera. She keeps leaning in and out and going, "Hi... Hi! Hi!" to her little baby self. I have it saved in about 4 different places, because I want to be able to look at it forever.

I completely missed them! You're right—they are lovely.

I think the mesh/illusion thing is woefully played out. It's Beyonce, so of course she looks gorgeous, but I think she could have done SO much better.

YES!! Fresh and lovely. I'm a total sucker for that color, and she pulls off the unusual details. Digging it.

Oh, honey, no. You need to fire your stylist (or hire one). Too pretty to consistently look this bad on the red carpet.

Right. Looks like the same generic surgery face you see all over the place in LA. I'd guess she was attractive to begin with, and now she just looks... off.

Haha. Yeah, my company was like that not too long ago. We're growing up slowly, but certain parts of that bro culture still persist.

Wow, 3 days. At a certain point it's truly just a token and borders on insulting. (Though I'd still take it—diapers don't buy themselves.)

Dude, I know. It's awesome. I feel seriously lucky.

Daycare was a HUGE reason we moved out of DC after I got pregnant. First off, LaMorenita was a surprise, making the 12-18-month waitlists something of a challenge. And then the rates for ones near our apartment/jobs ran just shy of $2k per month for basic 9-5 hours, and then you basically get screwed if you need to
