In my experience (7 years of), restaurants never allow for sick days. So if you are sick and handle food, you have to go to work and handle food sick. Gross, America. Cut it out.
I've never watched it, but was reacting to the articles and what they were saying. In any case, I wouldn't walk away in disgust if I was over at someone's house and they wanted to watch, but I'm more interested in shows that center womens' experiences right now.
I'm getting old and grouchy and the older and grouchier I am, the less likely I am to watch a show that isn't interested in representing women as human beings.

I went to a private women's college. It was, and remains, a terrific and supportive place. My graduating class was made up of a bunch of extremely diverse and interesting women, only a fraction of which were under the age of 25.
