Hope he’s ok. We don’t need another one after Luis Salom and a sidecar driver at Isle of Mann TT losing their lives.

Granted, having a rigid chassis is not always best. Sure, you won’t get much damage, but that doesn’t dissipate energy well.
Kyle gave the subtle “I’m just here so I won’t get fined” interview, dodging questions about the bump and run.
Well, no one will ever make it to 200 Cup wins because they ran a lot more races back when Petty was winning the races. Back then they had ~50 races/year compared to 36/year now.
Sad to see. Sounds like May-June before a return. Wonder if he will try one last shot at the 500 in 2017.
That’s the wonderful Beaux Barfield for you. A full course caution should have been called.
Nissan has recently been differentiating themselves from the other auto manufacturers with out of the box designs (Nissan Juke, Nissan NV passenger van, etc.) They’ve stepped away from the cookie cutter cars that other manufacturers are making.

If Tony Romo or Andrew Luck sits out multiple games in the NFL, then the Cowboys go on to enter the playoffs and end up winning it, would you be saying they didn’t deserve the super bowl championship.

How about Joe Gibbs Racing cheating their engine dyno test by putting a magnet under the pedal to put out only ~95-98% power to hide their performance advantage.
Sad, I’d been to the event 4 of the last 5 years. The only exception was when I had a bad sinus infection. It was always a great race. I don’t even know what IMS would replace it with. They tried sportscars, but they had no attendance. F1 is gone; MotoGP is gone. They are running out of series. They say Formula E or…
Kimi did pretty well in his NASCAR races until he totaled a Cup car on his first lap at a road course. Narain karthikeyan and Piquet Jr also did pretty well. It took them awhile to get acclimated to ovals but Piquet Jr won a few races and just ended up with a competitive team’s bad year.
He got into a fight last week for being dive-bombed. This week, he has no problem shoving someone.
ISC is NOT owned by NASCAR. It is a separate entity.
