Question: What kind of bear is best?

@gielamonster: Valid point, but in the end, a LeMons car isn't a $500 car either when you factor in safety equipment. My seat and roll cage cost twice as much as the entire car.

Shameless plug, another certain E30 that I'm familar with will be at SEMA too. Granted, not half as impressive as Bill's.

@I. Heart. Cars.: That was left over from the first attempt of the show a year or two ago. "The Hoff" had a time on the board as well and my friend went to the taping of the earlier attempt of the show and confirmed that Hasselhoff was the star in the car.

@Zukey Badtouch: You lost your bet. It took two men to carry it in.

@chucky2jimmy: They did specifically arrange the women to be in the front row when I was at the taping. My ugly mug was up on the bridge.

@brad442: I had a Tomica toy of that car.

@Neener: I love the redundant turn signals above the trunk.

@StalePhish: Same here in San Diego, but in Vegas and San Francisco the cab companies buy directly from Ford fleet.

@StalePhish: Are you sure they're ex cop cars? I would have figured that the cab fleet is big enough that they'd just purchase straight from Ford. I know that's the case with most other big cities.

Dude....

@EnidCadimillac: I don't watch NASCAR so I admittedly had no exposure to him before this, but he didn't seem to be a goofball at all here and I found him to be the most likable of the bunch.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... I attended a taping and I liked what I saw. The hosts seem to have a genuine rapport, the filmed segments were very entertaining, and the hosts seemed to have no problem talking crap on cars they didn't like.

@Germanautoaddiction: Yeah, despite the fact that he's the hot shoe of the group, he came off as the most "canned."

@coryd: Agreed, I liked what I saw at the taping.

@EnidCadimillac: I became a fan of his at the Top Gear taping. While I know Tanner is the driver of the group, Rutledge definitely came off as the biggest car guy amongst them - and an import guy at that! He's swapping a B18 into an '83 Civic.
