@fintail: I really liked that car too because my initials are SEC.

I am fond of my Tomica Datsun 620 Double Cab trucklet.

@ferric oxide: My car was never offered with a manual transmission from the factory. The donor car was a manual transmission car so the whole powertrain was swapped in as an assembly.

@ferric oxide: Actually, my '85 LTD LX with '94 5.0HO SEFI conversion, AFR aluminum heads, Cobra intake, JBA headers, cold air intake, dual cat exhaust (originally single), mild cam, Mallory ignition, and 5-speed conversion just passed Test Only with flying colors on Friday. Has BAR label from original mostly stock

On that lovely note, right after work I have to go get my LTD smogged.

@tonyola: Yesterday I saw an Acura 1.6EL in traffic. California plates but Ottawa license plate frame. I guess the DOT must allow it to be imported because of its Civic roots.

@ɹǝʌoɹ ǝƃuɐɹʇs: In reality I got pulled over for speeding and squealing the tires when taking off for a traffic light.

I don't, but the San Diego Police Department did a few years ago thanks to a humorous badge I decided to stick onto the back of my Omni GLH.

It's the opening scene of Cannonball Run in Bizarro World.

@ZeroOrDie: Yes, Mustang dash. They're all interchangeable.

One of these things is not like the other

@BroncoMech: Technically you are correct. This car is actually an '85 LTD that he swapped a Fairmont nose onto.

I've known about this car for quite a while and I love it. The only thing I can criticize it for is the fact that it's not a '78 Fairmont. It's actually an '85 LTD that he swapped noses on and for some reason calls a Fairmont.

I've always wondered if "Shops" or "Chops" is more correct. I know it's short for making Photoshop a verb, but "shopping" just sounds weird.

@WarShrike: There's a reason I posted a four eye.

Fox Body Mustang. They were entry level hoon cars for many people, and are common in just about every form of motorsport.
