I don't see what all of the fuss is about concerning the automatic. It'd be one thing if it was replacing the manual, but it's just another option.

That is a terrible development, though I did have Richard Hammonds crash in the back of my mind when I first read about this. Apparently he was lucid and even insisting, fruitlessly, on doing a bit to camera before getting shuttled off to hospital.

Well it's done for safety and speed - stripped of the excess chassis, the car is much lighter and faster but the tube frame keeps its shape better in impact. But if the car is based on the crash-absorbing chassis, and then you add a rollcage into it, it will be naturally slower due to the added weight than a tube

Can we get a few underhood shots? There should be enough room for an LS7 or LS9 swap.
