Just like when he tested the Ferrari F1 in 2006 and ended up 2nd best time behind Shumi and ahead of a lot of the current F1 drivers.

Every car company would lose a ton of money if you only count the first few sales. If Cadillac stopped selling the ATS today, they would lose tons of money on every car made. You have to sell high volumes to offset the cost of the platform development. You'd think a blog about cars would know that.
THANKS OBAMA!
WHAT'S IN THE TRUUUUNK!!!
The thing is basically made of all composite materials, not like its going to rust now. The only worry I would have would be the electronics and engine.
I dont know. this seems like a fantastic opportunity. Buy it for $37k (maybe talk him down to $30k), hoon the living shit out of it until the engine pops, and drop a new one in their. Even if a completely new engine will run you $100k that is still a bargain, assuming the rest of the car is not in tatters.
Might be useful as a part-out; don't think it would be too hard to make that money back if you sold the right parts to the right people. Shame it was destroyed though :(
Assuming the engine has had it, rip it out and stick a Chevy V8
