The post burnout, pre-stage element of drag racing might be the least interesting part of any drag race, however the driver of this dragster simultaneously wrecked his car at less than five MPH and nearly launched it into the grandstands.
Imagine you take your brand new, completely stock, 315hp, Bullit Mustang to the dragstrip for shits 'n giggles. Now imagine completely wrecking that car because you caught reverse while trying to up shift.
Had it been a German car that caught fire in Poland, your analogy would've been tidy. Otherwise it's as nebulous as Italy's allegiance during WWII.
