half the drive wheels, street legal tires, plus its actually driven on the street.

Yes, Dan Neil might be a Douche Bag but he is a talented D-bag.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.........................

He is a critic and he's won a Pulitzer, have some respect for the man....

Automobile Mag's columnist Ezra Dyer is writing for this show, for that fact alone, this show cannot go wrong. Ezra once wrote a column about his parents' love for base model vehicles and I will forever remember that column for the single quote about his father's Dodge Ram "having all the amenities of an eastern block

Pushrods and displacement vs. OHC and complication.

You bought a Wrangler, drove it 10,000 miles and never drove it off road? Maybe Jeep just thought you'd be too ashamed to press the issue. Kinda like a Corvette owner complaining he broke an axle "Without ever-even FLOORING IT!"

Why all the hate for automatics? I agree on high revving four banger a manual tranny is a must but with so much torque, an automatic make it easier to modulate power and actually makes the car quicker! Thats why the folks at GM used an automatic CTS-V to set the sedan record at the 'ring.

At the Dream Cruise, my 7 year old nephew approached the most absurd T-bucket I'd ever seen. It was totally Ed-Rothed-out, psychedelic paint, brass radiator/ headlights, 14x32 tires and a raised convertible top that looked nearly 9 feet high. This was the sort of car that would have made me wig-out as a 7 year old.

What if, instead of having a radio, cd/mp3 player and built in GPS , you just had a dock which you could place your iPad or tablet PC? Auto makers could stop trying to reinvent infotainment and concentrate on building cars and I could have up to date tech without having to buy a new car every 2 or 3 years.

The auto industry needs to realize that it's good at building autos and the the electronics industry is good at building electronics. The worst name brand aftermarket GPS is better than most of the OEMs.

Because Deface Car?

This tax hike will actually lower the price of a gallon of diesel, at least for over the road operations. Commercial trucks are obligated by law to participate in the "Interstate Fuel Tax Agreement", look for those multi colored IFTA stickers on the next semi you pass. IFTA essentially places all the state fuel tax

This is the commercial that helped me understand that everything you see on TV isn't real. "Nothing stops the Animal!" except grass, water, driveway cracks and any any sort of pebble that finds it's mechanical bits.

Being an over the road truck driver, I actually pay attention and actively look out for these types of things when I've been alerted. Yeah, its unlikely I'll ever spot a stolen racecar trailer in time but averaging 3000 miles a week, I have a better chance than your average driver.

In Kyle's defense, he was just trying to get away from Kevin Harvick and his reverse gear was all flippity jib.

Its too bad that Hardee's, er, Carl's Jr doesn't serve sliders.

Like a MANAGER! ........... no. Like a COMMANDER!.......thats not right either........

Two people called me "SIR"! I shall retire to Chutley Manor and gang aft agley.....

The next commercial in the series shows the driver deftly maneuvering an empty Gatorade bottle towards his crotch...............
