With all due respect, Ultimate is a brand new Smash game. I see that your point is that the game is building off of Smash Wii U, but by those standards wouldn’t games like Majora’s Mask or Uncharted 2 and 3 be considered “not new”?

There is a reason we even care about a franchise this old...because Nintendo is going to put it out at it’s best. No other game of Zelda’s age is relevant anymore (except Mario).

The 80s the decade of Thriller, Bad, NES, Zelda, Mario....end of story... way better than the 90s. (sequels to 80s shit doesn’t count...so no ocarina of time or Dangerous.)

So glad you can’t do it with a GC controller. That alone ensures this tech will not take off. I love Melee but... Smash 4 has been so great at tourneys because without techs like this the game allows for more characters to be viable competitively.

I would just buy them a Wii u then, that is a lot of games to play that they want. Not to mention Star Fox and Zelda are coming soon.

You heard it here first people, Nintendo, the most notoriously secretive and meticulous company in the entire business is actually just leaking details about their marketing budget on purpose. Nothing builds hype for Zelda more than letting everyone know the exact amount of dollars planned to be spent on its promotion.
