My understanding of what they’re saying here is ‘Racism is a complicated subject and everyone will have different feelings about it, so please respect someone else’s feelings on the topic if they say they’re hurt by something you don’t understand.’

‘Can afford,’ and ‘willing to spend’ are two different things.

Ah, fair enough.

Lol, say goodbye to Lamborghini. You just banned their top demographic.

Well... Sort of. Those top times are usually done on bespoke compounds of the Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires that are developed in tandem with an OEM to produce grip. They only work withing certian temperature ranges, they cost a fortune and they wear like you wouldn’t believe.

I’ve been a journalist, and I’m currently at an OEM.

Yep. This is a B2B solution. Keep the cost low.

I guarantee they put an absurd amount of thought into this design. Do you know how many people have to sign off on new light bulbs on a GM project?

It’s been a while since I’ve felt proud to be an American.

Interesting fact: If you try this in an Aventador, the automatic parking brake engages while you try to reverse.

Any dipshit with a bat could do that.

It’s art, not a benchmark for morality. Movies don’t need to be just in order to be good.

I withdraw my comment.

“You see, a low-flying pelican called Dietrich denied me the use of the fire extinguisher.”

Fired? I mean, it IS a prototype vehicle.

Fuck off.

But what if I actually wanted a cleverly built, actually small car that’s enjoyable to drive?

Manual transmissions are nearly out of production. Manufacturers have to team up to justify the expense of developing a new sports car.

The same reason Ford isn’t working on a new fusion. The market demands it. This may not get all the buzz, but if Kia does the marketing right, this should sell like crazy.
