It was the last of the super cars that required respect. NA race-derived V10 with a tricky clutch, no traction control... The thing didn’t even have ABS (Edit: is this true? I’m finding conflicting info.). It was the last super car that would do whatever it was asked to do, even if what you were asking for was an…
I had a ‘64 MGB for a short while. It was a fantastic machine. You could never be sad behind the wheel.
A million times this. Not only am I convinced this is the best sports cars in this price range, I would make a case that it's one of the best sports cars ever made. You can hop out of a Ferrari and still have a smile on your face in the S2000. It's amazing.
I went to the Allen Berg Racing School at Willow Springs. I did a whole write-up on my Tumblr but the experience was amazing. First of all, the cars are Formula Renault 1600s. They have a carbon fiber chassis, wings and slicks. It's a completely different driving experience compared to road cars on track days.
We also let kids who were polite and enthusiasts who asked nicely inside as well, but we had to be judicious about it. We really wanted to share the cars with the fans (my company is made up of mostly fans too, we get it), but seats can wear even with the nicest leather in the world. We weren't inviting anyone to just…
I work for an exotic car dealership and the absolute worst people are ones who feel they are entitled to touch and grope other people's cars. At one car show, we had a McLaren display in an area roped off from the normal public.
MINI makes no sense. What really irks me is when people use Fiat instead of FIAT. It's an acronym like BMW - standing for Fabrica Italiana Automobili Torino. Death to Fiat! Long live FIAT!

Did you get any hate? Supercars cause people to do insane things. I work for an exotic car dealer. Customers complain about these types of things all the time.
That's why I started my F1 group. I got a bar to install DVRs and host us for races. We watch them live when we can and DVR them when it makes sense. There are a few groups like that all over the country, and it's starting to get really popular.
You can see the same material, close up in the interior shot if you look at the lower right. There's a seat belt pass-through covered in carbon fiber. It looks like the real deal to me, just not treated to look like the glossy stuff we usually see.
My group is watching live in Santa Monica! Meetup.com/laf1fans
I'll be watching from the paddock/grandstand as Marussia F1's SM Driver for the weekend, but I started a group to watch F1 races in Los Angeles. We do trivia, full (Loud) audio and local drink and food specials. It's usually a blast! http://www.meetup.com/laf1fans/
That 500 was in our dealership recently! We have a few pictures on our website: http://www.santamonicafiat.com/blog/2012/october/15/fiat-500-racecar-in-santa-monica.htm
This being the 50th anniversary of Dr. No and all, I feel obligated to point out that this trick worked for James Bond in Octopussy.
