It sounds like your position is you don’t care if it’s disadvantageous to the software creators, just that you benefit in the end. Except you aren’t benefiting in the end either, you are paying more for a limited library of applications. You sound like an apple pr person, or an apple fanboy.

I know I’ve said and done things in my early mid twenties that I wouldn’t even let cross my mind now. Not really defending him per say, but not everyone ends up like Trump. 

The server wait times wouldn’t improve to a noticeable degree if streamers had to wait like everyone else, so can we REALLY say this move was at the paying customer’s expense? 

A company controlling what you can view on a device that you own is pretty damn dystopian. Just because it’s become commonplace doesn’t make it right, it just means we’re in a dystopia.

Then your friends should bail on Apple and join the common sense side of the room.  :P

On first glance I read it as Final Battle. Even after reading the article it took me a second to realize why you thought it was Anal Battle.

Yeah but anyone paying attention to apple’s business practices has seen this coming for a while now. If you’ve got an iOS device and this is a problem, next time you’re in the market for a phone maybe go for an android. They’re a bit less dystopian.

Nice to have feature for sure. Hasn’t been a deal breaker for me though. My main gripe around that is there is no option to show ALL items. I never really used folders other than to group nonsensical apps I never used (like video/playroom/etc).

I got my Demon’s Souls Remake, a superior Miles Morales experience at 60fps, and a surprising little gem in Astros. And afaik, Returnal and R&C are still on schedule. That’s enough to negate any disappointment.

The hardware is great, and there are enough good games to play that it is worth it. The extent to which both consoles (but especially the Xbox) improves your daily experience even with your last-gen games cannot be overstated. If the extra year wasn’t going to be used to improve the specs (spoiler: it wasn’t) then…
