Choosing to write a story about Rogen’s clarification isn’t the same thing as picking out a specific anecdote from a larger profile of him.

If we just had reasonable copyright law, none of this would be an issue, but here we are. 

I meant to Playstation consumers, yeah - the very people they’d like to shift over to Xbox (or possibly back to Xbox, depending on how many were 360 users before the mass exodus to the PS4). Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Microsoft buying Bethesda was a ‘bad’ move, just that purely from a marketing/public relations…

Except it still isn't a big deal because even all those things combined aren't going to change the majority of consumers minds. Games are still a far bigger selling point of consoles than quality of life features.

It’s a good feature. It’s something Xbox is doing better. But it’s a stretch to call it a “pretty big deal”. I really doubt anyone is buying an Xbox for this feature, I doubt anyone is going to avoid buying a PlayStation because it lacks this feature. It's a nice quality of life feature, but a big deal it is not.

You can also pay money to do it faster, and the delay existing at all is an artificial construct of the game developers.
