Has EA fixed the issue concerning your gamertag being linked to an inactive account? Can you now change this (your gamertag) and move it to a current account? The codes are a 1 time use thing. I don't have much of a problem with this since other than the exception that EA has a 1 time use for those codes. If your Gamertag is NOT linked correctly to your registered EA account you just wasted that code and will not be able to use it again.
