Always a good point, but sometimes there are teams that are just built around Stealth Rock. You think you've spun out one Stealth Rock user, and you doing Rapid Spin (pathetically weak even if it does spin out rocks and spikes) and it leaves you open to get killed and without a spinner. Left open for another Stealth…

So long as Stealth Rock remains as bullshit a move as it is, that won't happen unfortunately. Mega Charizard might be able to do some damage, but in this aggressive metagame, having his HP cut by half immediately (if you can Mega Evolve immediately when you come into battle) will cripple him.
