The impression I’ve had is that she’s still playing somebody else’s script. Like Teddy being turned into a monster while retaining his memories, Dolores feels like another persona grafted onto her experiences. She’s just running the Wyatt persona and thinking they’re her choices. Either that, or they wrote her poorly.

I was worried about this season. Season 1 went downhill for me after Cottonmouth, and I was kind of expecting them to continue with the Diamondback-level cornball villains. Glad to hear that’s not the case.

I haven’t played Magic in earnest in probably 15 years, but it still holds a very special place in my heart. I remember stopping in at a card shop out of town while going on a trip with my friend’s family and stumbling upon two mint Spirit of the Nights. That was more than twenty years ago, and I remember it more

Nobody needs a post-show if she’s gonna be livetweeting the whole series.

Yeah, I’m gonna have to go ahead and sort of disagree with you there.

I think Naughty Dog proved they can pull it off with the first game. Of course they can run that risk of going overboard here, but I have no reason to doubt their abilities.

If you’re asking if you think the graphic, realistic violence is necessary, imagine the movie Saving Private Ryan but replace the violence with Marvel movie violence. Tell me if it has the same weight.

I hope I’m not alone in thinking that taking Trump from Darrell Hammond was the dumbest decision SNL has made since firing Norm Macdonald.

It’s really sad that people still don’t give a shit about repercussions for sexual abuse against men — unless the abuser is a household name like Kevin Spacey. Adam Venit still hasn’t faced the music for groping Terry Crews either.

They replaced its showrunner if I recall, but it was too late.

Articles like this don’t seem to be interested in analyzing the responses beyond making clickbait claims. People like Aziz Ansari did nothing wrong, and anybody who read up on it knows that. Conflating what we know of the behavior of people like James Franco (which is unflattering but not criminal) with multiple-times

I’m bothered by discussions about Liefeld’s artwork, because people can’t seem to allow for a world where both arguments are true at the same time. He did have a very distinct, iconic style that shaped the 90s comic book industry and influenced a ton of artists. His use of belts and pouches was a look few could get

Valve doesn’t have time to remove school shooting games — they’re too busy protecting adults from anime boobies.

I’m not one to support censorship of any kind, and there’s a place for all kinds of content, but I’m kind of with the PTC here — at least in spirit. This show is targeted towards teens and glorifies suicide in an unhealthy, destructive way. Adults can and should consume whatever kind of entertainment they want

A.A. Dowd’s opinion is so bad it makes me assume he has had other people tie his shoes his entire life. You can be critical of del Toro, and there are certainly shortcomings to many of his movies, but Pan’s Labyrinth is an unequivocal masterpiece. You’re just wrong, dude.

You don’t think 4-5 people could afford a 3-bedroom loft in a non-residential area, with an elevator that isn’t up to code?

The Dark Knight was actually written by Chris Nolan and his brother Jonathan (who also wrote the screenplay for The Prestige and co-created Westworld with his wife). Goyer got a story credit, but I imagine they hand those out like Tic-tacs, given the vast disparity between everything Goyer has ever done and TDK, and

I’m excited to see Rockstar revisit a character like this. They’ve done a good job at breaking down the legacy of their own characters in the past, and I think they’ll do it here too. In RDR, we get the impression that John is a tough man who put his past behind him. It’s an Unforgiven vibe, where we think we’re

Stan Lee didn’t invent the word, or even the character.
