Yeah, been there with a Chrysler Valiant. it never died. even though it'd use a lot of oil, if I checked it regularly it always needed topping up. if I left it, it didn't. Eventually decided i'd replace it 'when it died', so of course, it just kept limping on.

I can't get past the bottom of the shuttle opening when there's a perfectly good hatch on the top...

They still haven't done an Australian trip (possibly because of the now defunct Top Gear Australia). There's a few epic trips they can do down here, like the Birdsville Track.

He fit reasonably well sideways, with his feet on the adjacent seat cushion.

The rear wheel arches remind me of the Countach?

and you'd think parking on the far side of the lot where no one else has parked would save you from some moron parking next to you, but no, there's always one who will park away over there with you...

Tolls are a joke, after all we already pay the stupid govt to fix those darn roads. double-dipping, i reckon.

the advantage of having so many bombs, that even if USA gets rid of 90% of theirs, they'll STILL have enough left to wipe out humanity.

Having your car taken away for spinning the wheels is like being executed for jaywalking. the punishment doesn't fit the crime!

"the threat of being shunned and outcast by the larger international community is a powerful motivator for a country to adopt more beneficent policies" - its not powerful enough to (outwardly) affect North Korea or Iran... China hasn't abandoned communism or lessened it's human-rights restrictions.

zero points for styling....

The Australian entry into this list would be the P76 by Leyland. On paper it was not only 5 years ahead of the competition, but a nice looking sedan, until Leyland's boffins decided to make the trunk large enough to fit a 44 gallon drum (no kidding) and changed the lines until the ugly stick had done it's work. then

a hybrid is trying to make the most efficient vehicles on the road more efficient. they need to be tackling the heavy polluting cars, like SUVs and pickups. fortunately they are starting to appear, slowly, now.

it sort of fits with mazda numbering their cars...
