I feel ya on the rotaries. I wanted an FD in the worst way and ended up in a 2004 RX-8 in the same sunburst silver with no body kit as yours. I loved it to death and with my full exhaust from GReddy it sounded like something out of an F1 race. Blasting to 9k RPM on a regular basis was out of this world.

I’ve advocated for the FT-86/BRZ twins since their inception and wanted to be a holdout for the Nissan IDX. When that was called off I bought a six speed BRZ Limited off the showroom floor. Some of us do put our money where our mouth is.

Have a Challenger, too. 2011 SRT-8 with a six speed. You’re right... it needs an astronomical horsepower figure to really excite me. If in 2011 there was a Hellcat I probably would have paid the extra for that model... but the power level of my current one is just fine for me and trading in for a Hellcat (after

I replaced my 2004 RX-8 Touring with a 2016 BRZ Limited. It’s a solid replacement in general. While I miss the exhaust note from my GReddy SP exhaust and the unlimited revs... as well as the fact that I could fit shorter people in the back seat in a pinch, the fact that I’ve put almost 16k miles on it in 11 months

My Mazda RX-8. Ugh. I had two modifications on it: exhaust and short throw shifter. That was all it needed. Sounded absolutely amazing at speed and shifted like a bolt action rifle. What didn’t sound great was the engine suddenly losing compression as I had to pull over to the side of the road because of a blown apex

Agreed with that on the BRZ. My BRZ has an aftermarket exhaust just because I wanted to hear it a bit more but is otherwise completely stock looking. I swear to god every single 350/370Z, modified Civic, SRT-4 (which ironically I have one in my garage as my track car), etc. wants to give me a shot. Hell, a few weeks

Yeah... that's down the the color what I just built.

Probably Edsels. I know that's in my elevator speech about myself... I always bring up my '58 Edsel and give the whole history of the company. I show pictures of it to people like how people show off pictures of their kids.

As the proud owner of a 1958 Edsel, I just wish the grille was either blank or actually said Edsel. I love the heck out of my Ranger and don't want "FAIL" or "SLED" down the middle of it. Otherwise I love the shirt.

Can we get a wallpaper sized headline banner?

Would that mean my RX-8 wasn't a sports car by that definition?

No kidding. My Neon SRT-4 is delightful, but I often find myself cruising and looking for that extra gear. Coming from an RX-8 I'm a bit biased, though. Got used to it.

Drop a six speed into this guy and it will become my aspirational car over an M6. Until then, good day, sir.

Hell yeah, I love my e-blue SRT-4. I was hoping someone would point it out.
