About 10 years ago a family friend of my parents’ was killed in a car accident. Somehow he knew he was going to die that day. He spent the week leading up to it getting his affairs in order and that morning he left his wedding ring on the counter when he went to work. On the drive to, some lady in on-coming traffic

My grandfather passed away in July from cancer. It’s nice to know that his last moments weren’t ones of fear, but of peace.

No, it doesn’t make me uncomfortable. It annoys me. Not everything in the world is about race and the people that keep trying to make everything about race piss me off.

Then perhaps the defense attorney should point out to the jury that cops’ testimony doesn’t alter the laws of physics.

the police lawyer could argue that he might have avoided the collision,

That dastardly semi-truck driver, who was obviously drunk, attached a giant Acme magnet to the front of his truck in order to force the fleeing criminal (who was completely innocent, of course) to careen into the front of his truck and cause a massive explosion just so the truck driver could get a massive insurance

Congratulations on unnecessarily making this an issue about race.

The asshole cop that arrested her should be put in jail. Fired at the absolutely least. People like him shouldn’t have any power.

PS: I used to love this art for Ace Combat 5:

I guarantee you that if the cops had their lights and sirens on the guy in the Smart car wouldn’t have pulled out when he did.

They have Car2Go where I live and they use almost exclusively Smart cars. I haven’t driven the new Smarts yet but the originals were shit. You put the gas pedal to the floor and it does... nothing. It takes a second or two for the transmission to figure out what it wants to do.

Also, at least to me, it looked like the cop car turned into the Smart car at the end.

I’m not sure where that cop was headed that he needed to be going that fast, especially without lights and sirens (apparently.)

To me, it looked like the cop turned into the smart car.

Where I live, the cops aren’t allowed to do high speed chases. They only follow long enough for the chopper (one of which is always airborne) gets eyes on the car. After that the helicopter follows the car and reports to ground units where to go to apprehend the suspect. It’s much safer overall because even the

I hope he gets booted off the force. That shows a remarkable level of poor judgement.
