Too big to fail is just a dishonest way of saying sunk cost fallacy.

A lot of the F-35 detractors realize that keeping on with the program is a textbook case of sunk cost fallacy. The people who want to keep pushing ahead with it, hell or high water, don’t seem to realize that.

Couldn’t they just create a “suspension index” and make up some numbers to achieve the same result?

Several reasons.

As I mentioned in my other response to you, you are not correct. People are not arrested at the onset, but when the DA decides to press charges and get an arrest warrant issued.

The average person is usually held in custody during a murder investigation.

The problem is the anti-cop people that are commenting would rather see mob justice enacted on the offending officers, without an investigation. They’ve already been deemed guilty in the court of public opinion and that’s good enough for a lynching in their minds.

Didn’t read the whole article, did you? At the end it says the DA is awaiting the final autopsy results and a full police report to determine whether or not to press charges. The offending cops could very well see jail time. You just need to be patient and let the process run its course. It isn’t instantaneous.
