If your IT department is dishonest enough to do something like that that’s a big red flag for the company. I work IT and as a system admin, we have access to literally everything. We should be held to a higher standard.

I suspect that most companies, particularly large corporations, would be happier with slaves. Basic food, clothing, and a rolled foamie to sleep on would probably be cheaper than actually paying people.

One of my friends pirates everything first to try it, then if he likes the game he buys it. When you have limited income you don’t want to waste $70 on a game you may not even like. Demo versions were amazing back in the day and I definitely utilized them in making my purchasing decisions.
