Not really a correct description of the system. The accumulators act as springs in combination with the large shafts of the dampers, and dampers do act as dampers to some degree. I took apart some SLS shocks off of a W124 and the dampers still have shim stacks on the ends so that fluid can flow from one side of the

What about the fact that if there are more people making $25 an hour, there are more people who can afford to buy a truck?

That was reported on April Fools day...

Nissan is catching up with Toyota! You can still buy brand new 2JZ-GTE short blocks(11400-49086, $2948($1500 cheaper than the NA assembly, and the only difference is pistons and piston squirters) and cylinder heads(11101-49366, $1446).

In low speed collisions, they can protect you! I got bumped by a school bus. My euro swan neck tow ball on my 1995 Mercedes E320 took the hit instead of the tailgate, bumper, and rear lights. Probably kept it from being totaled.

You really need a W126 for that!

Actually, I’d say the R129 was the last real Mercedes, and I own a 1995 E320 Wagon.

It’s called a C30!

Fuck sunroofs! They make it so I don’t fit with a helmet in multiple cars that I have. Next time I’m bringing my helmet when I buy a car.

The blowing out of the SLS struts doesn’t surprise me. The springs are supposed carry weight of the vehicle. I bet he could have sourced some “safari” springs from Mercedes along with some extra tall spacers and had the ride height he wants.

Just go to Car-part.com and start browsing used wheels! You could have probably sourced a set for less than $200!

Sarcasm. I think you missed it.

I had this crazy idea too, but it was formed as a way to try and get an ex-gf back that I had lost my mind over(long story)! I’ve got a 1995 E320 wagon, had just read a round the world trip story in The Star(Mercedes Club of America magazine) and was pretty drunk at a They Might be Giants concert in San Francisco.

The Focus is built on an worldwide economy car platform, while the Toyobaru is on its own platform. Economies of scale is a big factor.

Tunis Speedway in Waterloo, IA. It’s an old dirt track that closed down in 1983.

1992 Toyota Supra, teal hardtop. Basically this without the targa:

Doesn’t need revs, ‘cause boost!

You’re spot on with making sure to get a well maintained example. I’m mainly concerned about the suspension, EZLs and the other horrendously expensive V12 specific parts. You know it’s a concern when the forums even think the V12 isn’t a great idea compared to the V8s. I love inline 6’s though, and what could be

When buying a shitbox, pick something easy to work on and well made(Honda, Toyota, Mercedes(if you can afford the parts)etc) and avoid crap like old domestic cars, old Kia’s and Mitsubishi’s. It will be much less frustrating
