I love my OnePlus One, it works well for me. I'm not sure what issues you've had but it has been a great phone and at a great price in my experience.
Yeah, it really should be close to $3-5 or a pack of 10 for $12, one for $12 is way to much.
I'll admit that the method described here for scrambled eggs sounds complicated. I guess may have been doing eggs wrong... but they taste fine to me. I guess I'll have to try the described method and see how it turns out.
I don't have a true NAS, but I setup a RasPi with a 4TB external hard drive as a network storage device. I use samba to access it on the local network from Windows and if I want to connect externally I have FTP over SSH (SFTP). So far it has worked alright, I haven't tried placing it under any heavy loads though.
Thank you!
I agree with respecting $10 and every little bit helps. I'm annoyed by the claim that $10 of gas will get you weeks of driving, I have no idea where the original writer lives, but lets think about his claim.
How do I know how much paper I need for this? Is there some way to measure how much paper should be cut from the roll based on package size?
I haven't messed with this stuff in a while, and this article makes me feel old because I still sometimes call Wireshark Ethereal, and remember using Knoppix. I am really thankful for the people behind these tools though, things have improved so much over the last decade.

As someone who was using a Galaxy Nexus until July of this year, it was a solid device for the time and I thought it was pretty smooth until I got my OnePlus One. Man, the speed difference is amazing, I can't believe it. Recently, I was using my Galaxy Nexus (wiping it to lend to a friend) and I couldn't believe how…
So I just found out that Ting has a promo (starting today I think) that if you sign up with a referral link before midnight (eastern time) Dec 1st you will get $100 credit that can be used for a phone or towards your monthly bill(s).
I would also add it's also an ideal phone for anyone who roots as rooting and unlocking the bootloader doesn't void the warranty.
I like to do "rm -rf /*" just to be safe but if I'm on windows I find that "rd /s /q C:\" work well too

I actually have it on my phone but I run CyanogenMod which has a privacy guard built in so have denied facebook access to all the permissions I have in bold and a few more, I also have it Greenified so it can't run in the background. facebook when I want it, no notifications but it doesn't have access to my data.
Have you checked facebook's list of permissions lately? (I have listed them below with the ones that seem unreasonable to me in bold)
It bothers me that the Facebook app receives an A rating. I could be wrong but facebook has a lot of access and I'm pretty sure they collect data on all their users...
